Patrick Bohnenkamp

Chief Executive Officer

Pat looks like your normal guy, and to some extent he kind of is a normal guy. It just depends on what you consider normal… Pat has some very strong beliefs, for instance:

  • Wraps are stupid. They’re basically fake sandwiches acting like sub-par burritos. You’re stuffing a salad into a tortilla and calling it a day. You’re better off making a proper sandwich, or proper burrito, or proper salad. Instead, you’re getting the worst bits of each and throwing them together.

  • Frozen yogurt shouldn’t exist. Plain and simple. There’s no reason for it.

  • Also, ice cream is completely overrated. It’s too cold. Perhaps warm or hot cream should be a thing?

Weird (yet understandable) beliefs aside, Pat’s got a big heart for people. Despite growing up with both parents being lawyers, he doesn’t resemble your stereotypical lawyer in the slightest. He’s very obviously a free-flowing, creative thinker with an affinity for the world of imagination. He enjoys getting lost in universes like Harry Potter, Game of Thrones, Lord of the Rings, Star Wars, and similar sci-fi/fantasy classics. There’s always something new and exciting he’s learning about, and the teacher in him can’t help but share it. He’s got an honest personality that brings out the best in others, so it’s no wonder why he’s loved by everyone.

Not every day can be perfect, but in happy paradise land where every day is perfect; Pat would be on the beach in Mexico with his family. It’s almost a religious routine when he does end up in Mexico for vacation. Without fail, he gets up early to catch the sunrise at a café with his wife, works out, takes a shower (hopefully?), puts on sun-tanning lotion and heads to the beach with the family, plays beach volleyball, jumps back in the hotel pool, plays some basketball, and ends the day in the hot tub… He finds time for lunch and dinner in there somewhere, then does it all again the next day. There’s nothing more important to him than his family, no doubt about it.

He has four kids who are his world, five if you include Seprio being his child. He loves chatting about whatever he’s currently reading and learning, soccer, cars, college sports, things currently going on in the world, and why wraps are stupid. He considers it a great honor to cultivate the culture of Seprio and facilitate the growth of those who work there. There are a few who are coming up on more than a decade of being at Seprio, and there’s no-one who celebrates those kind of things more than Pat.

Pat believes in a world where people put aside themselves and help others more. There’s so much more we have in common compared to the little that we differ on. If everyone held true to the golden rule and thought of others before themselves, happiness and fulfillment levels would be through the roof. There’s nothing like putting your best foot forward and giving something your all, big or small. He’s a goofy, loving character that’s hard to forget.
