Doris Ooley

Contract Analyst

Doris. Where to start? She’s absolutely wonderful. I know that’s often cliché, but it’s not an exaggeration to say that it’s basically impossible to find someone with as much selfless love as her. Her only rule is the golden rule; to treat others as you want to be treated. It’s in her nature to shy away from us writing this bio singing her praises, but we love her tons and she more than deserves the spotlight.

When you first meet her, you’d (understandably) underestimate just about everything about her. She seems like a quiet, kind, observing lady who smiles easily and gets along with everyone. That’s all completely true, but there’s so much more than meets the eye.

Pretty quickly, you realize she’s likely the smartest in just about any room she’s in. Her strength and intelligence have been refined from years as an officer in the Army. Yet, the compassion and empathy often lost on those hardened from the military has not been lost on her. It’s a funny juxtaposition to know that while she is such a loving figure, she’s also your best bet on surviving the world burning down with zombies everywhere.

Doris grew up on a small farm in Indiana with 9 siblings. She appreciates her upbringing and the opportunity to live in rural America. During her time in the military, she and her husband were able to experience a tour of duty in Germany. Both of her sons (now in their 30’s) were born in Germany. While there, she saw what it was like in Berlin before and after the Berlin Wall came down. This left a distinct impression upon her and her belief in the foundations upon which America was built and the importance of personal responsibility in the protection of our freedoms.

Doris loves to sing, help others, and spend time with family. She loves ending her day with the feeling that she gave her all to be as effective as possible and that she did something to make someone else’s day better. If there’s anything that is more important than the rest to her; it’s the golden rule. She believes the world would be a much better place if everyone treated others the way they want to be treated. Without respect and love for others, everything else is meaningless.
